Truthfully, I love all beautiful things, regardless of its medium. Whether it’s a 19th century painting or a modern architectural structure, it all has the potential to be beautiful.

I started this blog so I could share my thoughts and interests with the world. I love reading and following other interior bloggers and all of the wonderful work they do, and I thought to myself, I wonder if others would be interested in my work?

And so, here we are!

When I started this blog, I knew I would share my projects. After all, that was the motivating factor. But as I began planning my content, I realized there were other technical topics that I wanted to discuss as well. People sometimes ask, How do you style rooms so well? How do you pair two accessories/colors/styles that are so vastly different?

These sorts of questions can be easily answered by studying interior design. And in saying so, I don’t mean you need to go get yourself a degree. I didn’t – though I did complete a two-year certificate that covered the basics of interior design. You can learn interior design and interior decorating through practice and observation.

Sure, if you’re a beginner, it might seem like a daunting task. But, don’t fret. There are plenty of people who are more than happy to help out – including me.

And there I had my second reason to start my blog – to guide and assist others that enjoy interior design too.

So, now I had a proper foundation to build on. And I am building, one post after another.
