Free Printable Cupid Valentine’s Day Cards

With January gone and Valentine’s Day just around the corner, holiday preparations are underway around here.

I’ve been scouring the internet for cupid Valentine’s Day cards that weren’t going to burn through my pocket, but I didn’t find anything that fit the bill. I love a sweet little sentiment to pair with candy and other trinkets, but I wanted something that was tasteful without being too cheesy.

So, I’ve put together a cute printable for you to share with your friends and family this season.

There are two color options provided in two sizes: a 5”x7” greeting card size and a 2.5”x3.5” Valentine’s printable. These are perfect for gifting to friends, coworkers or students.

Below you’ll find some suggestions and tips on printing options and gift giving.

Where to Print Your Cupid Valentine’s Day Cards

One of the cheapest professional printing options I’ve found is photo printing at businesses like Walgreens or CVS.

I have had many positive experiences with printing photos at Walgreens. The process is fairly simple, as I can upload an image online and pickup in store. Additionally, the colors tend to be rich and overall true to the original image.

Currently, a 5” x 7” print will cost you about $2.99. However, Walgreens will often have 15%, 20% or even 40% off coupons for photo products. This is a great option if you need to print several copies, so keep an eye out for those savings!

I made these printables a small size so that they would nicely accompany a piece of candy like a sucker or a chocolate bar.

These come in a set of 4, best printed as a 5”x7” print (pictured above). However, you can definitely print these out on letter-sized cardstock. I trimmed my Valentine’s Day cards with a paper trimmer, though they are small enough that you can get away with a pair of scissors.

As for greeting cards, you can print these on standard cardstock. You’ll have to trim it down a bit, but the finished size BEFORE folding should be approximately 10″x7″. Once folded, the card will be 5″x7″.

Decorating Ideas for Your Valentine’s Day Printables

Cutting a Slit into a Valentine's Day Card for a Lollipop

Here, I cut out two slits with a ruler and an X-Acto knife – one slit towards the top and another towards the bottom. Then, you can insert a lollipop or a pencil as a gift.

You can leave the Valentine’s Day cards as is, or you can decorate them with ribbon, yarn and more!

(FYI: I printed these out in a matte finish – that’s just what I prefer. Walgreens has both matte and shiny options though! Also, these are a pale pink – though they may appear white-ish on a screen.)

This small size would also be great as a gift tag. Just cut it out, punch a hole and attach it to your gift.
