The Best Grandmillennial Brands to Shop for Your Decor
I write a lot about Grandmillennial style, but I don’t have much on Grandmillennial brands.
I know I encourage everyone to purchase decor from thrift stores and secondhand marketplaces. Nonetheless, it’s important to acknowledge that not everyone has access to these kinds of places. Or that the quality of items is always there.
So I’ve put together this list of the best Grandmillennial brands to shop for your decor. Whether you’re looking for a gift for a friend or you need a fabulous tablecloth ASAP, here are my recommendations for you to check out.
Amanda Lindroth Design
Amanda Lindroth is an interior designer. Her design studio can be described as “island inspired classic design.” And regardless of whether your home is on an island or not, you’re bound to find tons of inspiration from her work for your Grandmillennial home.
If you like her style, Amanda’s got a shop where you can purchase all kinds of lovely things for your home.
Find some of my favorites below.
Ballard Designs
Second on my favorite Grandmillennial brands to shop list is the classic Ballard Designs.
Ballard Designs has been around for a very long time. It originally began selling its products in catalogs, but it has since moved into the digital marketplace.
Ballard Designs is pretty iconic in the world of decorating. They had a product line with Bunny William’s some years ago and it’s one of my favorite collaborations.
You can see why they are a favorite below.
Mrs. Alice
Mrs. Alice was founded by Alice Naylor-Leyland and it has flourished into a well-established brand.
I mentioned Mrs. Alice before in my Popular Grandmillennial Fabric Patterns to Know post. Specifically, I mentioned the Ikat fabric that’s been everywhere on Instagram on upholstery, wallpaper, etc.
Although I didn’t link the Ikat pattern below, you can check out the product here, or browse some of my other recommendations.
Serena & Lily
If you like to follow fellow decorators on places like Instagram, then you’re probably familiar with Serena & Lily.
And it’s no wonder why people seem to love their products. There’s a lot of eye candy to enjoy on their site that will fit many decor styles.
Caitlin Wilson
My last recommendation for one of the best Grandmillennial brands to shop is Caitlin Wilson.
Wilson’s style is very in line with the Grandmillennial style:
- Light and bright colors
- Rich wood tones
- Florals
So if your style leans into these characteristics, then you should check out her shop.
